Modifications

All documentation relating to all open and closed modifications to the iGT UNC is available to download from this section of the website.

All modifications that are in progress or awaiting a decision from the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (the Authority) regarding whether or not to approve the modification can be found in the ‘Open Modifications’ section of the website.

All modifications where a decision has been received from the Authority (approved, withdrawn or rejected) can be found in the ‘Closed Modifications’ section of the website. Any modifications that are awaiting implementation or where an implementation date has yet to be agreed can also be found in this section.

iGT Panel Meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Wednesday of each month, in order for a Modification to be discussed at a Panel Meeting, please ensure that it is received by the Representative before the 1st Wednesday of the month.

A register of all Modification Proposals received has been prepared and is available to download from the table below.

The modification process is detailed within Section L (Modification Rules) of the iGT UNC and will usually involve the following key stages:

• Modification Proposal Submission – any Pipeline User or iGT can raise a Modification Proposal.
• Industry Consultation – following discussion at the next appropriate meeting of the iGT UNC Modification Panel a Modification Proposal will usually be issued to the industry for review and comment.
• Draft Modification Report Production – a Draft Modification Report will be produced and circulated to the industry. This will incorporate any comments received during the initial consultation.
• Draft Final Modification Report Production – the Draft Modification Report will be updated following consultation with the industry.
• Final Modification Report Production – once finalised the modification report will be passed to the Authority for a determination.
